Christmas is a lovely period of time, it is just amazing, cosy, friendly, thingely, sparkling, fantastic, adventures, creative and and shiny. I love this holiday very much due to the fact that his holiday reminds me about a fairy tale. Which most of you guys know that I like a lot.
Everything is great with this period of time – IF we take away the hectic and stressful atmosphere which comes with it, which is created just because of some phenomenon called Christmas gifts.
I usually do not hunt after gifts in crowded environments. I do not like the hunt and the thought ”I have to buy something”. It spoils it all. And a crowded area, filled with stressed people just make me want to run away to the first empty island I can reach. Christmas is supposed to be fun and cheerful – not hunted and ”I have to, I have to” feelings in your mind and heart. Then Christmas is not fun at all!
This Christmas was very different for me, even though I am usually so busy before Christmas, I am not working Christmas eve and Christmas day. This time I did and that was a nice experience due to the fact that I was not stressed like I use to be. I missed my family unbelievable much and all the small traditions we usually do. But for the first time, I did not need to get Christmas presents for Christmas eve! It was just like any other day at work, but with a few more sparkling stars and cosy atmosphere.
